A little about us |

Martha Ponn Jewelry Designs has been in business for 33 years. Our team consists of myself, my granddaughter, Kylie, & her husband, Timmy. You may have visited our booth at one of the many art and craft shows we exhibit in. All of our jewelry is designed and created by hand in our Columbus, Ohio studio. We use a variety of high quality metals, like Sterling Silver, Precious Metal Clay and 14k Gold-Filled to create our designs. These metals are combined with semi-precious stones, beads, shell, pearl and whatever else catches our fancy. 

You may wonder, "Martha, how did you get started making jewelry?"

Well, throughout my entire life I have always found myself channeling some sort of creative energy. From painting to photography, baking and crafting, jewelry making has been a lasting form of passion and enjoyment. I began with formal training in silversmithing and continued my education through books. But my natural appreciation for beauty and form remains the driving force behind my designs. 

My sidekicks | Kylie & Timmy

My best friend and granddaughter, Kylie, also designs and creates with me. From seven-years-old, she has been learning the tricks of the trade and selling at art shows with me. Aside from helping the family business, she graduated from Wittenberg University in 2018 with majors in Dance and Communication and a minor in Journalism. Kylie now works in PR and Marketing. I'm so thrilled Kylie is still working the family business with me even after graduating college, I couldn't do it without her and I cherish the time we get to spend together through this business. I've loved watching her grow and seeing her creativity and designs flourish throughout the years. I couldn't do this without her. 

Our newest addition to the family business is Kylie's amazing husband, Timothy (Timmy) Bates. They've been together for 8 years and he's been helping us in the booth and at art shows since their college days. He could honestly run this whole ship without us! I'm so appreciative for Timmy and what he's brought to our business and to our lives. He's strong, smart, personable, and charismatic and we appreciate him so much!

Even though we've been in business for 33 years, we never stop making new designs and enjoying the creative process.
